Damask open cardigan made in soft mohair wool. This unique handknitted cardigan features intricate lace stitching front and back. A beautiful, warm layering piece. The yarn is hand-spun, hand-dyed and made from non-mulesed wool, a resilient yarn that softens and adapts over time. Easy cut. Boxy shape. Raglan sleeves. Wide, ribbed collar. Ribbed cuffs and hem. It takes about a week for each of our handknitted pieces to be knitted. They are individually made by the ladies we work with in Nepal. To reflect the personal quality of these knits and the care and skills that have been invested in the making of them we have included the signature of the knitter on the label. As requested by you, our hand-knits now come with a skein of matching yarn. This way you can darn your knit if necessary. A wonderful way to extend the life of a garment and reduce waste

These cooperatives not only ensure fair trade but also provide training for women so that they can work their way out of poverty.

Environmentally Friendly: When it comes to materials nature knows best that is why Bibico only uses natural materials such as mulesing-free wool and cotton. They also started an organic cotton collection to minimize the chemicals exposure that is dumped into the environment.
