This sweater is the richest we've developed yet. At first glance it seems quite simple, but gradually you discover all its refined details.
The apparently simple panels and sleeves are decorated with a wide band in the age-old Aran knitting technique. Although the Aran sts are knitted very coarse, the whole has a lace-like feel. Aran knits were developed a long time ago by the inhabitants of the Aran Islands on the west coast of Ireland. To this day, this region is known for their beautiful sweaters and cardigans.
The elegant neckline is beautifully finished with a facing on the inside, so no collar is needed.
The knit is made up of 4 different colors of extra fine merino and mercerized cotton, which together form a lively tweed structure.
Knitted in a limited edition in one of the last knitting factories in the Netherlands and assembled and finished by hand in our studio.
Available in 3 color palettes: Fair, Ginger and Raven.
Ginger: Rust brown with beiges and a touch of brass color.
Height: S 58 cm - M 60 cm - L 62 cm
Hem/chest size: S 88 cm - M 92 cm - L 96 cm
Model is 1.75 m and wears size S.
Wash on a wool wash program or by hand. Centrifuge on a low frequency or roll in a towel. Do not use a dryer. Lay flat to dry.

STUDIO MYR is a small independent knitwear brand by Miriam Lenarts.
Fair trade: Miriam's collection is knitted on a small scale in the Netherlands under fair working conditions. This happens in the Dutch knitting workshop Knit-it. The materials come from Italy. There, the yarns are manufactured by two family businesses.
Environmentally friendly: Studio Myr uses natural fabrics such as merino wool, linen and cotton. The merino wool is RWS certified, so mulesing-free and the animals are treated in a good way. The linen is grown in Europe, and the organic cotton is GOTS certified. Studio Myr also uses Pima cotton.
Sustainability is close to Miriam's heart and the clothing is therefore produced with as little waste as possible, according to the zero waste principle.
Locally produced: All clothing is produced locally in the Netherlands, and the yarns are made in Italy.
