About the brand
Knickey believes that standards were made to be raised. In this way, they challenge themselves to fully live up to the promise of sustainable underwear. They skip the pesticides and petroleum-based fabrics (which is the basis for most underwear) and opt for clean, non-toxic certified organic cotton that breathes perfectly.
Fair trade: Knickey's items are made in India in a factory that is Fair Trade International certified. The employees work in a pleasant and safe working environment and are paid a fair wage. The suppliers are GOTS certified.
Environmentally friendly: the underwear is made from GOTS certified organic cotton, recycled nylon for the elastic, and the bras are made from Modal and recycled polyester. The packaging material is plastic-free and preferably made from recycled material. The packaging is certified by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative.
Good cause: Kickey is carbon neutral and offsets its full footprint. The supplier is also CO2 neutral and has recently installed solar panels at the factory. In addition, the label regularly donates to charities such as Fashion Takes Action, The Slow Factory and Planned Parenthood.
