• Voorstuk - 28% Gerecycled Polyester van plastic flessen, 50% Bio-based Polyurethaan (PU), 22% PU. Bio-based houdt in dat het materiaal is afgeleid van plantaardig restmateriaal (grotendeels voedermaïs), afkomstig uit hernieuwbare bronnen. Het materiaal is 'PETA-Approved Vegan' gecertificeerd.
• Binnenzool - Microfiber, 60% polyester en 40% Polyurethaan (PU), ademend materiaal met hoog absorptievermogen.
• Buitenzool & Hak (5 cm hoog) - Thermoplastisch Rubber (TPR), recycleerbaar materiaal

Sharon Woods sandals are handmade in a small family workshop near Alicante, Spain. The company was founded by the family in 1989 and has since been passed on from father to daughter. This company is in a network with some local manufacturers (often sole traders), who make all the parts of the sandals. Now that Sharon Woods has just started, the parts are only made from 28% recycled material, but the goal is sandals made from 100% recycled and/or organic material. In order not to produce an unnecessary amount, the sandals are made on-demand. Which means that when an order is placed, production starts. All sandals are vegan.
