A start-up with a traditional background: Our partner company in Tuscany, Italy, is part of a group of companies that has been producing home textiles since 1958. Since 2020, the BSCI-certified company has been developing particularly luxurious scarves and textiles from natural regional materials, which are processed on solar-powered looms.
Virgin Wool & Cashmere
For the guaranteed welfare of the animals, we use only mulesing-free wool, which is obtained by carefully shearing the soft fur of sheep from certified organic livestock. Also our cashmere comes exclusively from controlled organic animal husbandry, is GOTS certified and therefore fully traceable.

About the brand
Lanius is a brand founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius with a clear vision to bring ecological materials and fair working conditions together to create beautiful feminine items. Lanius stands for LOVE FASHION / THINK ORGANIC / BE RESPONSIBLE and you can see that in their clothing.
Fair Trade: Lanius works only with facilities where they can guarantee fair production. They have a close relationship with all of them, and most of their suppliers are GOTS certified. They are very transparent and have a page dedicated to all their suppliers on their website, so you can see who made your clothing.
Environmentally Friendly: The clothes are made from GOTS certified organic cotton grown in an eco-friendly manner, organic and mulesing-free wool and ECONYL ® 100% regenerated nylon yarn made from recycled fishing nets. They also use other sustainable materials and have a page dedicated to all their materials on their website if you want to learn other eco-friendly materials.
Good Cause: On international women’s day Lanius donates 10% of all daily takings to the organization FEMNET.
