Afka Women’s Versatile Puffer Vest

The Versatile Vest has impressed so many that we decided to come up with a quilted option for winter. We used deadstock fabric and soft bamboo lining, and while we were at it.

The vest makes for beautiful layered looks with other Afka pieces. You can also wear it under woollen coats or on top of leather jackets. Pick between cream and cinnamon.

Get creative and combine this striking asymmetrical vest with your other Afka pieces. Design a different layered look every morning and stay warm and comfy all day long. The vest has a nylon outer layer and soft lining, open sides, and can be tied at the waist with a detachable belt. It comes with a pelerine you can wear around your shoulders together with the vest or separately.

Afka was founded by Vendula Niklová in 2022. Growing up in a family of dressmakers, she'd piece together fabrics that were lying around in the workshop. Later, in design school she thought: "Why spend money on brand new material when I can repurpose what I already have? And why stop at one final look, when I can invite the wearer’s creativity to the process?". Later, she founded Afka with the same thought.

Eco-friendly: Afka upcycles deadstock materials into new items. Extra cool is that the clothes are morph to fit and hence, you can wear one item in different ways.

Fair & local production: The items are made in a workshop in Prague, Czechia. They pay a wage that's more than double the minimum wage and the workers are united in a trade union.
