These bags of the Muun collection, are designed and handcrafted by artisan women in small remote villages in Guatemala. Good Neighbors supports these women in their production of eco-friendly textiles, providing them with a source of income and empowerment.

The making of these bags involves 100% natural cotton without bleach or dyes, skillfully woven on pedal looms to create strong greige fabrics. These fabrics are then decorated with colorful embroidered designs by artisan women who specialize in embroidery techniques.

Environmentally Friendly: For the wool collection Quetzal Artisan uses materials such as bamboo, alpaca wool, and organic cotton, which are spun in the Andes mountains of South America. For the Guatemalan collection, they only use natural materials such as cotton and viscose, and they paint by hand using natural paint products such as tree bark and flowers.
