About the brand

common|era was founded in October 2021 by Jasper and Arno. It stands for 'our common era', which is based on the Brundtland Report published in 1987 named 'Our Common Future'. The shortest summary of all time? Let's leave a better world for the next generations.

Eco-friendly: Common|era uses materials like GRS-certified recycled polyester and pre-consumer waste recycled cotton. However, they also use virgin polyester. The reason why this happened? The factory they work with had issues with the supply chain of recycled polyester and hence, replaced it with virgin polyester instead.

Locally produced: The suppliers common|era works with are all based in Portugal, the Netherlands and Spain.

Fair production: common|era works with tex.tracer to provide full transparency about their suppliers. You can find an overview on their website here.
