Rosemary water is a hydrosol that comes from the foliage of the Rosmarinus officinalis. This refreshing water is obtained by steam distillation of the dried leaves of the Rosemary plant. Rosmarinus Officinalis is a perennial herbaceous plant and is native to the Mediterranean region. In addition to its antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and soothing properties on the skin, Rosemary Water also stimulates hair growth. It is a super nice product for your skin and your hair.

Against skin aging

Rosemary water is high in flavonoids and phenolic acids. It may sound logical, but Rosmarinic acid is the most active substance in this hydrosol. Rosmarinic acid is a very strong antioxidant that in its pure form is able to protect other oils from oxidation. In this hydrosol, rosmarinic acid contributes to protecting the skin from free radicals. Antioxidants neutralize free radicals and thus prevent skin aging. Rosemary water is therefore extremely suitable for mature skin.
