This oversized Shawl Blue with fancy Pom Poms is a must-have for any fashion-forward individual.
The extra large size and blue and terracota color make it an eleant and versatile piece that can be worn as a shawl or used as a cozy plaid.
But what makes this sustainable shawl truly unique is the fact that it is handwoven on a foot-loom by talented Mayan weavers in the Highlands of Guatemala.
These weavers are part of the women cooperative KemAjachel, which consists of 70 skilled Mayan artisans. It takes 3 to 6 master-weavers about 3 workdays to create one of these stunning shawls.
By purchasing this product, you are not only getting a high-quality and stylish accessory, but you are also supporting these weavers and their families. Your purchase helps them to support their household economy, send their children to school, and preserve their precious weaving traditions.
The shawl is made of 100% rayon and measures 257cm x 65cm (including fringes). It is handwoven on a foot-loom and handmade in Guatemala, making it a fair-trade and sustainable fashion choice.
Specifications:
To keep your shawl in top condition, simply hand wash it with cold water and lay it flat or hang it to dry. You can also iron it using the rayon setting.
