Short description

We named this knit 'Šatrija' after a hill on the Baltic coast. According to Baltic mythology, that's where Lithuanian witches would gather, dancing barefoot. Inspired by their connection to nature and the significance of women's rituals in Baltic culture, we translated these elements into the knit's silhouette and texture.

We don't believe in deadstock. All of our Šatrija skirts are produced in small batches at our our female-lead, female-run partner factory in Lithuania, overseen by Mrs Zina. For this knit we oppted for 100% organicly grown cotton yarn, with no microplastics and no harmful or irritant chemicals used. Certified organic by ICEA. The best part? You'll get a card with your order telling you exactly who knitted your garment and a little about them.
