I designed this cheerleader outfit from two trackpants.

I see sustainable fashion design as a sport. This sport deserves all the encouragement. Hence this cheerleader outfit. With this outfit I want to show that sustainable fashion can be very sporty and sexy.

I want to encourage people to choose upcycled clothing. There is currently a clothing surplus in the world. Upcycled clothing is one of the most sustainable ways to tackle this problem.

Stephanie from Stephastique believes that there is something unique and beautiful about every person. In 2019, she started her own clothing label, a brand that makes funky handmade clothing. Her work is often described as colourful and sometimes alternative.

Fair trade: The clothing is handmade and ethically produced in the Netherlands. Stephanie makes the items herself in her studio. Many clothes are made-to-order, this prevents unnecessary surpluses.

Environmentally Friendly: Stephastique is committed to taking positive action in the fashion industry. They only use sustainable materials, such as upcycled second-hand clothing or GOTS-certified fabric. The shipping materials are made from recycled plastic and the hang tags are made from recycled kraft paper.

Locally produced: The collections are made locally in the Netherlands.
