Short description
This cute handmade earcuff is a gecko, or as we call it in Nicaragua: perrozompopo. Karla Castillo is the designer and maker behind these cool earcuffs with flexible legs so that you can adjust it to your ear. This gecko is made of recycled silver and coated with gold (18K). It comes in its own cute jewellery pouch made by ETCA, an organisation that works with donated textiles.

About the brand
Karla Castillo is a jewellery brand started by Karla herself. Karla is a dentist during the day, but in the evening she is a silversmith. She makes beautiful one-of-a-kind items, but also a standard line with simple designs that she keeps repeating. All her jewellery comes in a unique envelope or bag. These are specially made at ETCA, an NGO that works with donated substances in a fishing town on the Nicaraguan coast.
