Our Sita slouch bag is a pretty everyday bag, perfect for holidays, festivals & the general runaround . Made from soft organic cotton and hand block printed by a wonderful women's social enterprise on the outskirts of Jaipur.
Featuring an exclusive Loft & Daughter block print design & signature tassel.
Please note this bag is designed to be worn across the body. Due to the length of the strap, a bumbag position is only possible on sizes 12 and above- apologies we will fix this on the next batch!

Our beautiful organic block prints have been thoughtfully brought to life by an inspiring collective of women on the outskirts of Jaipur.
Our block-printing warriors have made the brave decision to better their lives by joining Anoothi, an organisation who’s mission is to “progress Indian women through economic empowerment”. By providing vocational training and employment in traditional Indian handcraft techniques such as block printing, Kantha stitch and tassel making, these women are able to enhance their standard of living, sense of dignity and independence, choosing to carve out an alternative life to the bleak path many vulnerable and oppressed women may otherwise find themselves on.
About the brand
In 2016, Katie quit her job in Sydney as a women's clothing buyer for a fast fashion retailer. Here, on the frontline of fast fashion, she sat at the many negotiating tables from Shanghai to Delhi, pinching to the last cent. Always pushing for cheaper, faster, for the massive volumes that would eventually find their way to landfill, Katie eventually realized she was part of a huge problem with this. She changed course and started jewelry brand Loft & Daughter, with which Katie wants to show that you can also give back to people with a fashion company.
Ethically produced: The jewelry is fairly made in Jaipur, India. The organization is WFTO (Fair Trade) certified and provides training and employment opportunities to vulnerable or displaced artisans. All items are made by hand using slow, traditional craft techniques, not in large factories.
Eco-friendly: Where possible, the label uses recycled silver, in addition to 22kt gold vermeil. Loft & Daughter also uses GOTS certified organic cotton with natural pigments. The workshop runs on solar energy.
Vegan: The items are vegan.
