Material
This item is made of 100% Cupro, vegan silk and, like its animal counterpart, feels particularly soft and light on the skin. The woven flowing fabric is made from recycled cotton seeds. In a closed cycle, our producer in Japan produces vegan silk from the raw material in an elaborate process. This cyclic manufacturing process protects the environment and does not release harmful substances into the environment. The manufacturer works with various organizations to pay attention to the social component.

This style is made in Turkey by the textile manufacturer Bestform. This producer is certified with Sedex and BSCI, among others, and the two owners - father and son - pay attention to their employees and sometimes even lend a hand. Shop Like You Give a Damn is an online vegan & fair department store, started out of the frustration of vegan shopping. The founders of Shop Like You Give a Damn wanted to be able to shop easily, with a wide range of stylish clothing, shoes, bags and cosmetics, of which you know for sure that they are vegan. Still quite tricky, because often you only find out after ordering that there is a leather patch on the jeans, that some wool has been processed in a sweater, or that the glue in the shoes is not vegan (if you ever find out).
Fortunately, there is a wide range of vegan products that are also made fairly and sustainably. These products are only fragmented over the internet in small webshops. Shop Like You Give a Damn brings all these products together in an online department store, where they have researched for you why and in what way a product is sustainable and of course whether it is actually vegan. This makes vegan shopping fun and easy!
