These cotton Scarves are skilfully handwoven on a backstrap-loom en hand-dye with selfmade natural dyes extracted from plants, flowers, vegetables and fruits, by the members of the Mayan collective Kem Ajachel from Guatemala.

This Mayan colective is formed by 70 talented artisans.

Environmentally Friendly: For the wool collection Quetzal Artisan uses materials such as bamboo, alpaca wool, and organic cotton, which are spun in the Andes mountains of South America. For the Guatemalan collection, they only use natural materials such as cotton and viscose, and they paint by hand using natural paint products such as tree bark and flowers.
