Ecovero is een soortgelijke stof als Lyocell. Een nieuwe stof gemaakt van houtpulp van onder andere de eucalyptusboom die ook ook wel bekend staat onder de naam Tencel. Lyocell heeft een luxe uitstraling, het is zacht en neemt goed vocht op. Het wordt net als viscose rayon van houtpulp gemaakt. Echter is het proces milieuvriendelijker. Zowel het benodigde water als de oplosmiddelen worden herbruikt en de gebruikte oplosmiddelen zijn minder schadelijk voor het milieu.
