Handwoven on a backstrap loom by Mayan master-weavers of the cooperative Ajtonelixok in Guatemala, this poncho is a true work of art. The weavers use self-grown cotton and self-made natural dyes from barks, plants, vegetables, seeds, and flowers, making each piece one-of-a-kind.

Environmentally Friendly: For the wool collection Quetzal Artisan uses materials such as bamboo, alpaca wool, and organic cotton, which are spun in the Andes mountains of South America. For the Guatemalan collection, they only use natural materials such as cotton and viscose, and they paint by hand using natural paint products such as tree bark and flowers.
